Welcome to Crafted by Michele. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to purchases, digital products, custom orders, quote requests, and services provided by Crafted by Michele.
By using our website, placing an order, purchasing or downloading a digital product, submitting payment, or approving a custom design for production, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the applicable terms below.
Online Store Purchases
Products may be available for direct purchase through the Crafted by Michele website.
Submitting and completing an online order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products at the prices displayed at checkout.
Crafted by Michele reserves the right to cancel or refund an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, product unavailability, technical errors, or circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.
Product availability, pricing, promotions, and selections may change without notice.
Quotes & Pricing
Submitting a quote request does not constitute an order and does not guarantee availability.
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of the request, including quantity, garment type, sizes, colors, design requirements, customization, and deadline.
Pricing may change if order details change after a quote has been provided.
A quoted custom order is not considered accepted until any required payment or deposit has been received.
Payment & Deposits
Online purchases must be paid using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as PayPal or other payment processors made available through our website.
For custom orders, a deposit or full payment may be required before design work, materials purchasing, or production begins.
An order is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received.
Remaining balances, when applicable, must be paid according to the terms provided on the invoice and may be required before completed products are released, delivered, or shipped.
Taxes
Applicable sales taxes may be collected when required by law and may be calculated based on the products purchased, customer location, shipping destination, or other applicable requirements.
Digital Products
Crafted by Michele may offer digital products including graphics, designs, printable files, templates, artwork, and other downloadable content.
Digital products are delivered electronically. No physical product will be shipped unless specifically stated in the product description.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, file types, dimensions, software requirements, and other product information before purchasing.
Because computer systems, printers, cutting machines, software, and other equipment vary, Crafted by Michele cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, program, printer, or machine unless compatibility is specifically stated in the product description.
If you experience a legitimate problem accessing or downloading a purchased file, please contact Crafted by Michele for assistance.
Digital Product License
Unless an individual product listing specifically states otherwise, purchasing a Crafted by Michele digital design grants the purchaser a limited personal and commercial-use license.
You MAY:
- Use the design for personal projects.
- Use the design to create finished physical products such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, tumblers, signs, keychains, party favors, bags, apparel, and similar merchandise.
- Sell finished physical products created using the purchased design.
- Use a professional printing or production company to produce finished physical products or transfers for your business.
- Use the design with print-on-demand (POD) services to create and sell finished physical products.
- Modify the design as reasonably necessary for use on your finished physical products.
You MAY NOT:
- Resell the original digital file.
- Share, trade, give away, or distribute the digital file.
- Upload the digital file to websites, groups, shared drives, file-sharing platforms, databases, or other locations where others can access or download it.
- Include the digital file in another digital bundle, collection, design pack, subscription, or membership.
- Sell the design as another digital download.
- Convert the design into another digital format for the purpose of reselling or distributing it.
- Claim that you created or own the original Crafted by Michele design.
- Transfer, sublicense, or sell your license to another person or business.
- Allow customers or other third parties to obtain or download the original digital design through a print-on-demand platform or other service.
Print-on-Demand Use
Print-on-demand use is permitted under the standard commercial-use license.
You may upload a purchased design to a print-on-demand provider for the purpose of creating finished physical products for sale.
The digital design itself may not be offered for sale, download, sharing, distribution, or transfer through the print-on-demand service or another platform.
You are responsible for complying with the terms and requirements of any print-on-demand or third-party production service you use.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Purchasing a digital product grants you permission to use the design according to the license provided with the product. Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership or copyright of the original design to you.
Unless otherwise stated, original website content, product photographs, graphics, designs, branding, written content, and other original materials created and owned by Crafted by Michele remain the property of Crafted by Michele.
Purchasing a product does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit Crafted by Michele’s intellectual property except as expressly permitted under the applicable product license.
Certain products may be subject to additional restrictions based on third-party intellectual property rights. Where applicable, the individual product listing or applicable license terms will control.
Digital Product Refunds
Because digital products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned, digital purchases are generally non-refundable once the digital file has been delivered, accessed, or downloaded, except where otherwise required by law.
Please review the product description carefully before purchasing.
If you receive an incorrect file, corrupted file, or experience a technical problem with a purchased file, please contact Crafted by Michele so we can attempt to correct the issue.
Custom Designs & Proof Approval
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all design proofs before approval.
Please check:
- Names and spelling
- Dates
- Numbers
- Colors
- Sizes
- Placement
- Wording
- Photographs
- Logos
- Other personalized information
Once you approve a design, Crafted by Michele will produce the order based on the approved proof.
Crafted by Michele is not responsible for errors that were present in a design proof and approved by the customer.
Changes requested after final approval may result in additional charges and may affect the completion date.
Customer-Supplied Artwork, Photos & Logos
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission or legal authority to use photographs, logos, graphics, trademarks, artwork, wording, or other materials they provide to Crafted by Michele.
By submitting materials for an order, you represent that you have the necessary rights or permission for their requested use.
Crafted by Michele reserves the right to decline any project or submitted material at our discretion.
Product Images, Colors & Design Appearance
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display our products.
However, colors displayed on phones, computers, tablets, and digital proofs may appear slightly different from the finished product.
Actual garment colors, print colors, placement, dimensions, and appearance may vary slightly because of differences in screens, materials, manufacturing, printing processes, and product availability.
Minor variations that are normal to the production process are not considered defects.
Sizing
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct garment sizes.
Sizing may vary between manufacturers, brands, garment styles, and cuts.
When available, customers are encouraged to review the applicable manufacturer’s sizing information before ordering.
Crafted by Michele is not responsible for incorrect sizing selections made by the customer.
Product Availability & Substitutions
Products, garment brands, styles, colors, sizes, and materials are subject to availability.
If a requested item becomes unavailable for a custom order, Crafted by Michele will contact you to discuss reasonable alternatives before making a significant substitution.
For online-store orders, we may cancel and refund an unavailable item when an appropriate substitute cannot be provided.
Turnaround & Processing Times
Processing and turnaround times vary depending on the type of product or order.
For custom orders, estimated turnaround times begin after all required information, approvals, and payments have been received.
Turnaround estimates may be affected by:
- Order size
- Product availability
- Design complexity
- Requested changes
- Shipping or supplier delays
- Seasonal demand
- Customer response times
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
If an order is needed for a specific event, customers are responsible for providing the correct event date.
Submitting an order close to an event date does not guarantee completion or delivery by that date unless the deadline has specifically been accepted by Crafted by Michele.
Rush Orders
Rush service may be available depending on the order, production schedule, and product availability.
Additional rush charges may apply.
Acceptance of a rush order is at the discretion of Crafted by Michele.
Changes to an Order
Please provide complete and accurate information when placing an order.
Changes to quantities, sizes, colors, names, wording, designs, shipping information, or other order details after payment or approval may result in additional charges and/or additional production time.
Once production has begun, certain changes may no longer be possible.
Cancellations
Cancellation options depend on the type of product and stage of the order.
For custom orders, once materials have been purchased, design work has been completed, or production has begun, deposits and payments may be non-refundable to the extent they cover work performed, materials purchased, or other costs already incurred.
Digital products that have already been delivered, accessed, or downloaded are generally not eligible for cancellation or refund except where required by law.
Please contact Crafted by Michele as soon as possible if you need to request cancellation of an eligible order.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Personalized and custom-made products generally cannot be returned or exchanged because of a change of mind, incorrect size selection, or customer-approved design details.
If Crafted by Michele makes an error in producing your order or you receive an item with a qualifying production defect, please contact us promptly after receiving the order.
We may request photographs of the item so we can evaluate the issue.
When Crafted by Michele determines that an error or qualifying defect occurred, an appropriate resolution may include repair, replacement, reprinting, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.
Additional terms applicable specifically to digital products are described in the Digital Product Refunds section above.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping charges, when applicable, may be displayed or calculated during checkout or included in a custom-order quote or invoice.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Crafted by Michele is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or incorrect addresses supplied by customers.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Shipping-related issues will be handled based on the circumstances of the shipment and applicable carrier procedures.
Pickup
Local pickup may be offered for certain products or orders when available.
Customers are responsible for following the pickup instructions provided with their order and arranging timely pickup.
Abandoned or Unclaimed Orders
Customers are responsible for responding to communications necessary to complete their order and for arranging pickup or delivery of completed products.
Orders that remain unclaimed for an extended period may be subject to additional storage, delivery, or other reasonable arrangements.
Promotions, Coupons & Discounts
Promotional offers, coupon codes, sales, and discounts may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, expiration dates, product exclusions, purchase minimums, or other conditions.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions and discounts cannot be combined.
Crafted by Michele reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
Photographs of Completed Custom Work
Crafted by Michele may photograph completed custom products for portfolio, website, social media, or promotional purposes.
Personal information that is not part of the product design will not intentionally be displayed.
If you do not want your completed custom product used for promotional purposes, please notify Crafted by Michele before your order is completed.
Communication
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and responding to requests for approvals or additional information.
Delays in customer responses may delay production and completion dates.
Transactional communications relating to purchases, payments, downloads, shipping, or customer service may be sent as necessary to complete or support an order.
Right to Refuse or Cancel Service
Crafted by Michele reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including projects involving unlawful material, intellectual-property concerns, abusive or threatening conduct, suspected fraud, inability to obtain required materials, or circumstances that prevent us from reasonably completing the order.
If Crafted by Michele cancels an order after payment for reasons unrelated to customer conduct, materials already purchased, or work already completed, the appropriate unused portion of the payment will be refunded.
Website & Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to or use third-party services, including payment processors, quote forms, social media platforms, shipping providers, website services, and online marketplaces.
Use of third-party platforms may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.
Crafted by Michele is not responsible for the availability, content, policies, or practices of independently operated third-party services.
Changes to These Terms
Crafted by Michele may update these Terms & Conditions as our products, services, website, policies, or business practices change.
The version posted at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that order unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
